25th Anniversary Special at WFIC
To commemorate CJC's 25th anniversary, the team unveiled "The Data Defenders" at WFIC2024. Conceptualised by Steve Moreton, Director and Global Head of Product Management at CJC, each value proposition was personified based on real-life CJC employees and proved to be a massive hit among attendees(!).
Kicking things up a notch, Paul Gow, CJC's Founder and CEO, generously agreed to give one lucky attendee a Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT 36 watch with an RRP worth over £1,000. For a chance to win, WFIC attendees had to correctly answer a question via a limited-edition deck of cards with the answer provided in an accompanying comic book. Participants gathered at a specific time around CJC's booth on the second day of WFIC where a winner was randomly selected.
Jeff Kimsey, Vice President and Head of Data Products for Global Information Services at Nasdaq, adjudicated the winner selection process, where the National Bank of Canada's Market Data Manager, Catherine Hubert, was named the winner after the initial name called failed to attend. Thank you for presiding over the process Jeff, and once again, congratulations Catherine!
Entering WFIC's third day, the team was blown away by interest in CJC's new DLT-powered blockchain solution, Digital Rights for Data Management (DRDM), built from the ground up for market data distribution and contract governance. Interest was so intense that DRDM's CEO and Co-Founder, Alan Ross, struggled to get a single sip of water in before booth demolition took place(!)
