JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our global team of managed service specialists. Your role will be dedicated to serving our global clients in top tier investment banks and other financial institutions in a fast paced and dynamic environment covering market data and other specialist technologies.

You will report up to the Global Head of Service and collaborate with other teams across our global offices.

This will be a hybrid role and while we require a diverse set of technical skillsets we do not expect candidates to satisfy all requirements and will be providing internal training as needed for any new hires as part of our integration process.

The SDMs are the technical experts in the market data technology domain who carry out all operational tasks according to the global process models & create and maintain activity-related records with the given toolset. They look after escalations from operation support and design and deliver training and workshops to the operations team. In addition, they manage the client engagement on a daily basis and attend meetings on the Company’s behalf as well as managing Client reports, team performance and start of day meetings. They also manage the quality of the service to our clients and all the underlying pillars like team performance and scheduling.

Oversee and guide all activities of the team. Manage the performance of team members through training and creation of documents.
Coordinate SLA management and tracking of the teams’ overall performance in accordance to defined SLAs.
Ensure the team follows best practices and maintains service level agreements.
Monitors department issues and address client complaints. Escalate when necessary to Head of Service.
Develop problem management reports and service improvement plans.
Ensure CJC, client, support, technical parties are represented in the definition and evolution of services.
Prepare service reports and participant in monthly service review.
Support incident investigation and cover 2nd level technical escalation and client escalations.
Able to manage complex projects.
Able to cover weekend shift and public holiday shift when required.

Extensive technical experience with market data products such as TREP/RTMDS platforms, Low latency Direct Exchange feed handlers, distribution platforms & market data API solution.
Understanding of DACS entitlement system.
Technical Knowledge of Exegy & Wombat market data solution, Messaging protocols and the associated software components and APIs (Kafka, etc.) is a plus.
Development/troubleshooting experience of AWS ECS, VPC, including VPC endpoints, Kubernetes / Containers, Time series database Prometheus / Thanos is a plus.
Knowledge of systems monitoring and capacity planning technologies for low latency environments (ITRS etc.)
At least 10 years of work experience in a financial institution or market data consultancy firm with relevant experience.
At least 5 years of Team Management & Service Delivery Management experience.
ITIL Foundation Level certification required.
