We are looking for a Market Data Technical Specialists in our offices in London, New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong to join our team of managed service specialists. Your role will be dedicated to serving our global clients in top tier investment banks and other financial institutions in a fast paced and dynamic environment covering market data and other specialist technologies.

You will report to the Regional Head of Managed Services and collaborate with other teams across our global offices.

This will be a hybrid role and while we require a diverse set of technical skill sets we do not expect candidates to satisfy all requirements and will be providing internal training as needed for any new hires as part of our integration process.

The Technical Specialist is the technical expert in the market data technology domain who carry out all operational tasks according to the global process models & create and maintain activity-related records with the given toolset. They manage escalations from operation Support Specialists and consult with internal teams for their areas of expertise. They design, and deliver training and workshops to the Support Specialists to increase knowledge within the team.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support incident investigation and cover escalations from Support Specialists to resolve the incident and implement a permanent fix.
Support change ticket review and implementation.
Carry out detailed problem investigation and analysis, liaising with teams globally.
Able to support complex project-related work like system architecture design and build.
Positively contribute to continuous development of the team, including technical documentation, design and create training contents & deliver workshops.

Cover of weekend and public holiday shifts as per agreed rota.

Technical Knowledge of:

TREP/RTMDS platforms with extensive and recent hands-on experience.
DACS entitlement system.
Exegy & Wombat market data solution.
Low latency Messaging protocols and the associated software components and APIs (Kafka, etc.)
AWS ECS, VPC, including VPC endpoints, Kubernetes / Containers.
Time series database Prometheus / Thanos.
Systems monitoring and capacity planning technologies for low latency environments (ITRS etc.)
Exchange Datafeeds and the technologies used to deliver those feeds in both client and co-located facilities.
Low latency Direct Exchange feed handlers, distribution platforms & market data API knowledge is a plus.
Strong networking knowledge, including multicast, Unicast TCP/UDP.
Experience in scripting / automating tasks is a plus.
Work experience in a global team environment is preferred.
At least 10 years of work experience in a financial institution or market data consultancy firm with relevant experience.
